Feature Story & Pitch Letter
In May 2015, I participated in the Texas Hunger Initiative's "Hunger in America" trip. Along with 14 other students and staff, I traveled to Washington, D.C. to learn about local and national efforts combatting hunger. I wrote the following story as a response to my experience. It was published on THI's blog and used to promote the following year's trip.
